"We are interested in seeing these spaces not simply as calculations of property that has to be protected at all costs, and we will claim them accordingly. Not small numbers of us who ask for the solidarity of others or who assume that we "represent" other students. Massive numbers of us who wish to express discontent in any way that we find productive and necessary. Occupation is one such way, but far from the only one."

Whatever singularities, indeed. The germ of that thought certainly still remains center to these attempts/thoughts of communisation, although I personally remain wary of the possibility of the "Non-state" vision collapsing into a sort of pseudo-void of "humanity." (And remain wary perhaps more broadly of a certain political vision of communisation that cannot think negativity very well, that too much conceives as a positivity imagined to be unacceptable to powers that be. You can work toward microforms of a coming community, but it's clear that certain forms of secession and withdrawal, no matter what sort of community you produce with those withdrawn whatevers, are an ineffective whisper, an absence barely to be noticed.)
But perhaps either way, "sooner or later, the tanks will appear"...
